Very sad. I got turned on to his work through the Blues Brothers, then quickly moved into his other work. A very talented man, and a great loss.

He played with everyone over the years....well, at least everyone I liked in the music industry. I'll always remember him playing with that 70s Caucasian-Afro & beard, bass hiked up high, with a pipe in his mouth... :thumbs:
