Any Computer Salesmen Here?

Hi guys,

Long story short, my old 500Mhz machine is dead. Gone. Buried. So I have no home PC (posts for last week actually done at work - just don't tell anyone ).

I don't have the money to go out and buy a new one flat out. I don't use (or have) credit cards. I figured before I start going through all the computer places around here or even on the net I would give first dibs to my brothers here. Risk factor involved: I have lousy credit, mostly due to older stuff that I am still taking care of, but won't lie - my credit report is pretty bad (tip for single men out there - when you get married keep your credit lines seperate!). I can afford monthly payments though and all that.

can't help you out with a 'puter but can relate to the credit story!
it took me almost 7 yrs to get my credit back in shape.
with this marriage she has hers and i have mine. the only thing we share is the house.

Dude. Dell is your solution.....cheaper TCO(total cost of ownership) than anyone else, unless someone gives it away. They will work with you...a brand new machine full of software less than $700, some models even cheaper...cannot beat their service and reliability, not to mention their prices.....just my $.02...I have Dell at home and ALL we buy at work....

look on website for ball park machine, but they will totally customize if you call on the phone and will lease or have very liberal credit ddept, been there done that brother....
