My mid-tour is coming up in the next couple days and the biggest things that keep me motivated during this deployment are my evening smokes and looking forward to my R&R coming up next month. I'm headed to Australia and would love to meet up with any CPers along my way. I'll be in Queensland for the bulk of the time, scuba diving and beachin' it up but I'll also pop down to Sydney for a spell. I just received my 30 count traveldor and plan on doing some serious boubon sippin' and cigar smoking as well.

Hey mate.
There is one CPer in Queensland, but Im not sure if he is active. I was in Sydney but am now back in NZ, so I cant meetup for a drink.
Take your own cigars.
Dont buy cigars from the markets over there.
There is a good cigar shop called The Cigar Czar in Queensland.
I think they will sell duty free to you
There are two cigar shops in Melbourne that will sell duty free to ya, they are Alexandra's and Baranows.
If you are driving across the desert and you see some natives(abbo's) dont stop. They will take your car and drink the petrol.
If you go bushwalking. Wear high boots,(Snakes), A sturdy hat,(Dropbears), and dont eyeball any Spiders. Some of em can jump 6 metres, but thats only the big bitey ones. And they dont like being eyeballed.
And take your own beer.
You will need plenty of protection as the woman are dirty as(thank fu...).
Have a good trip mate.
Maybe you will make it to NZ one day.
