So my friends friend goes to Canary Islands soon, and he thought about bringing back to Poland some nice canarian sticks.

Do You guys know any brand from this part of world? Are there any interesting cigars?

Haven't had a smoke from there in at least a few years, but the ones that I had weren't impressive.

Here is a link to some brands from the Canary Islands - link

Then there is Goya. These are cigars rolled in the Canary Islands from Cuban tobacco.

I was in Spain this summer and asked a cigar merchant to recommend some good Spanish made cigars for me to bring home. He told me there weren't any Spanish cigars. Then he laughed and recommended some Condal Robustos which are rolled in the Canary Islands from DR tobacco.

As far as NCs go they are quite good in my mind. Granted I haven't tried a lot of the big name NC varities (I live in Canada and tend to smoke CCs because it is easy) so I am not sure how they compare to Fuentes, Padrons etc, but I like them.

I remember hearing about a cigar a while back, Finlandia I belive it was called, that was part Cuban part Canary Island tobacco. Sounded interesting to say the least.
