F1 was pretty much a joke this week, eh??
 
I was transfixed by the situation in indianapolis and posted a thread about it.

I can't believe I dropped Tony for Jeffy and still won.

Road racing should make things interesting next week...how many roster spots will you sacrifice to pick up some "road course ringers?"
 
Hell, I'm just going to pick Carl.... he can't lose no matter where he races, it seems.... LMAO! The Busch race was crazy.

I hate to be so cliche, but That Boy Can Race!

I'm a little worried about him at Sonoma, but note he has raced road courses in a truck before.

I'm thinking a top-15 out of him at Sonoma would be tantamount to victory.

I'm going to wait to see the entry list, but Boris Said should be the most competitive Road Course Ringer because he's already done several races with the same group. Also look for Scott Pruett to be strong if they put him in Ganassi car. Not sure if Ron Fellowes is slated for a car or not (I think DEI has sponsored him at least once in the past).

The problem is, a lot of those guys haev inexperienced pit crews that don't have time to gel, and are under team orders not to pass if one of the bigger names is up ahead (like Scoot Pruett definitely had a chance to win several years ago but was obviously told not to jeapordize a good finish for the guy in the other Target car (I forget who it was...Casey Mears?) by racing him hard).

Yep, he's fast alright, Tried to snatch up my wife once, but he wasn't quite fast enough for that! LMAO!

Back into second place!! I had a pretty good weekend!! It would have been better without trans. problems but still a good weekend.
 
Damn! Even with the winner I dropped places... damned tranny problems!! And, those road ringers... well, screw 'em. LMAO! Had, Smoke, Edwards, Johnson, J. Gordon and Carl.......
 
What a race. Two and a half hour rain delay didn't get over until 1:00 AM. And what do you know it moved me right into first place!!
 
Horse's ASS! And I had three guys int th etop 10, too...unfortunately the other two wrecked....

it was an awesome race, though. I;m a tony stewart fan and I thought it was cool that he climbed OVER the retaining fence.

awesome race. it sucks thet MM got wrecked out though.
 
OK, now that sucks big time... I edited my drivers on Thursday and was set right at 100.0. WTF happened between then and race day?? I didn't get any points because my salary exceeded 100.0...... Well, there goes my second half of the season....

That's weird.

Maybe one of your drivers didn't make the race? Didn't "renegoiate values?"

Anyway, this is only the middle third of the season. The last third wil be coming up shortly!

I did the same thing I've done in all the previous races. It sucks... I had J. Johnson, Biffle, Martin, Edwards and Leffler. Should have done o.k. not great, but o.k.
