Hey guys.

Are any of you phone hackers using webjal?

I finally own a phone which I can use webjal.. woohoo..

no more paying for apps..ringtones or wallpapers!!

I figured out a little trick. Sometimes when you convert a sound file and than you chop it down to size .. Webjal sometimes would throw an error when if completed uploading to the phone. and the file would not upload.Well I figured out that if you convert the file down a second time it will magically upload your file as where before it would not.!


I am using dbpoweramp to convert all music formats to
8000 HZ
8 bit
1 channel

Anyone know of any other useful trick or tips?
 
man...i just updated my nextel and spent about 4 hours just trying to download that stupid webjal.

still cant figure it out.
 
I use MyJal same as webjal but easier to use (IMHO). Some good sites for games, tones, programs etc. are wckediden.com or nextelelite.com
 
Hate my Nextel and not going to buy another phone to replace this Nextel my contract is up and i'm changing to a differant provider. So tired of not getting service in some pretty common vacation spots.

Just on my 13 mile ride from work to home I drop calls in three differant spots.

same thing was happening with my old phone.. with this one i get sefvice in all the places my old one would not.

I have heard of myjal.. but hear that it was no longer to be splken about..LOL!! and also no where to be found..!!

I also saw a new one that is being work on called. Genesis ..looks very bad ass!!

MOTOROLA I860 so far so good I am very impressed with it so far..!

Hmm maybe i'll take the wife's phone to work tommorrow and see how it works out. She has the 730
 
I've got a i710 and I friggin hate the damned thing!
Seems that my house is in a dead zone. When I callled them AGAIN last week the customer service guy to me "well, maybe you should try another provider" with a ****ty tone to his voice. I told him that I didn't want to pay for the service cancellation fee as this is not my fault. Your job is to provide me with the service I signed up for and my job is to pay the bill.

Then I ws told "let me repeat myself, maybe you should try another provider" I asked to speak to his superviser...the guy told me no, because he'd only tell me the same thing.

I got the guys name and hung up, called the super and told him my problem ans let him know that I don't appreciate some young punk kid giving me $hit ...he said that if I wanted to change to another provider that they would waive the charges.

Now I've got to start looking for a new phone provider...or throw this damned thing in the trash!! :angry2:
 
i used to never get service inside my office or in the server room here at work.. Now I get a signal..Plus I like all the goofy things i can do to the phone!!LOL!!

I can now play chess on my phone!!
 
You play chess Alex??? Hmm never would of guessed that. So now i'll have to beat your arse in Friday night fight and chess.
 
The department issued me an I530. Biggest POS I have ever seen. If you get of the interstate very far no worky...dropped calls out the yeng yang. ;)
 
Nextel stinks i have had it for years, coverage in New England Stinks. In NYC its good but there are alot of dead zones. I have the i830, not a bad phone but i need to upgrade soon
