I keep forgetting to post this. My flight leaves at 6:00 A.M. today. I am flying into LAX and staying up in Canyon Country at my mother's place 'till 3/9/06. If any BOTLs in the southern California area are interested in getting together for a little herf I'd love to hear from you. Shoot me a PM if interested.

Friday night is better for me...but it's gonna rain...but should be over when work gets out.

Man, it'll be a drive...but I'm not THAT far.
Know of any good places to smoke in your area?

Yes, I can be available on the 7th whatever time you want. I'm glad you didn't decide that tonight would be good. I have been up since 4A.M. Central time and I have a nasty chest cold. Hopefully I will be able to get rid of it before the 7th. If the 7th doesn't work for some reason I'm up for whatever as long as it isn't tonight. I'll shoot you a PM and give you my phone #.
 
swifty, when's a good time for you?

Good times for me:

Friday night and Saturday during the day/afternoon is best for me.
Saturday night, is possible, but it's a maybe.
Sunday during the day, is also possible.
Monday night is good for me.
Tuesday is also good for me.


Bad times for me:

Sunday night's not good for me.

They also have a great selection of cigars. Authorized Fuente dealer, Padron, Davidoff...etc. They also sell hard alcohol (purchase only).

Distance From Everyone:

Swifty: 46 miles from you.
Chewbacco: 42 miles from you.
godfather: 45 miles from me.

I think that would be a great central meeting point and would totally be in.

What do you guys say? Late afternoon followed by dinner? :thumbs:

I see that we are all the same distance from the cigar lounge...

Is the cigar lounge cool? Have you been there before?
 
Yeah, it's a cool place, I've been there twice.

They had some nice cuban jazz going, a little bar where you can order your beer/wine/port.

Walk-in humidor had some nice goodies in it.

Friendly people working there.

It's not the biggest place, but big enough. Afterwards we can grab some dinner too, should be fun.
 
hey godfather... i'm just down PCH from T.O., but I can't make it this Saturday... and I wish I could.

If Chewbacco, Swifty and anyone else want to get together for a lunch break in Pasadena on Tuesday around 12:30 - 1pm let me know.

Seadub...are you only available between 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm?
I might be able to meet-up with you...just need to know what the limits are, and when I can schedule-in lunch.
There's a cigar shop around the corner from the Tiffany's (yeah, I know, it's kinda too posh now in Pasadena).

Rod can't make it until late Sat. evening...so can we move it to sometime later...like 7 or 8pm?

Swifty mentioned wanting to meet Rod.

If we move the time, then Pasadena might be a better location, since Ceniza lounge closes at 1 am.

There's also Gordon Biersch in Old Pasadena...they allow for cigar smoking. And they have liquor!
