Any way to tell if this is genuine or a fake bottle?

I've never heard of fake HC7. Looks pretty much like every other bottle of HC7 I've drank.
 
Me either but I kinda figured they fake everything else coming out of Cuba so why not the rum.... I more skeptical of the guy who gave it to me then anything but I guess I drank enough of it now that it doesn't really matter. lol
 
They actually do fake Havana Club rum, though I can't tell if this one is a fake. I would think not. If I personally was going to counterfeit HC rum I'd do the 7 or the 15.

I can't find anything online about the HC Añejo Oro.
 
HC Anejo Oro came out in 2002 and is only available in Cuba, Spain and Mexico. It's not as popular as the other HC brands.
