Never been there Don but the place sounds like it is way cool. Sounds like you're planning a family get together / mini herf:

Sleeping Accommodations: 3 Bedroom(s), 2.5 Bathroom(s), Sleeps 18, Bedding Information: 4 queens, 5 queen size leather futons, 1 twin.

Ensure that you let us know how it was so we can all plan to check it out in the future....... :)

It's been a few years, but my wife and I spent part of our honeymoon in a place called Hemlock Inn in Bryson City. We liked it so much, we returned with the kiddos a few years later. Big rustic place with a few cabins if I recall correctly, and a main inn building where communal meals are served. Also has a wraparound porch with big rocking chairs for quiet enjoyment. This was before I got into cigars, so can't offer any guidance on their policy there.

Been through there on the way to Murphy. If you like rafting, check out Adventurous Fast Rivers (http://www.white-water.com/). And the Railroad (http://www.gsmr.com/) is pretty cool, too.

I loved it as a 6 year old, but having passed through with a more mature perspective several times since then, I've found Cherokee to be a pretty glum and depressing experience.

Last I was there, the "blackjack" tables at the casino consisted of the players seated around the table like normal, but the "dealer" and your "cards" was simply an arrangement of computer monitors. Basically just a comfortable, multi-player blackjack computer. An artificial experience at best, a rigged machine at worst.

I am on the other side of the mountain and have been over there a few times, Not as much to do as the Gatlinburg area but then again that's not for everyone either. The Casino is close to having the new addition done if its not by now. If you need any info about this side shoot me a message
