Anyone else like the all-Christmas radio stations?

My kids love it, so it's all we listen to in the car. I have to admit I actually kind of like it...the kids are laughing and singing and NOT nagging eachother in the back seat. Plus, I really dig Christmas so it's all good. But I also find myself listening to it even when the kids aren't in the car. I need to man up.

I thoroughly enjoy having my wife and son in the car, christmas station on, and all of us singing along.
I think it's making memories, traditions, etc.

Sometimes I lay it on pretty thick, and really sing as badly as I can.... :whistling:

I am a Christmas music guy and have been listening to it since November 1st. Hear the same song at least 4 times a day. :D
The music makes me happy.... What can I say?

Glad to hear I'm not the only one.

Bing's "White Christmas" and Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song" are two of my favorites, and the kids love hearing me butcher them. LOL

HAHAHA i can't stand it i work in a hotel and all day long christmas songs..don't get me wrong love the season but get alittle crazy hearing the same songs all day...anyway happy holidays!

"Chet's nuts roasting on an open fire..."

I feel bad for Chet every time I hear this song.

XM has 5 or 6 Christmas channels, that I listen to all the time. Now, they added old Bing Crosby shows on another channel. I'm a sucker for Christmas music.

I leave the radio at work on the Christmas station for a little background music. I just wish they'd play some of the cooler christmas songs instead of the same 15 all day long. I'd like to hear Jingle Bells by the Bare Naked Ladies (great, fast version), Christmas Wrapping by the Waitresses, Song for a Winter's Night by Sara McLaughlin, etc. Newer stuff. I swear they must play the songs they do because they're so old they're in public domain.

I too enjoy the holiday music station on but as soon as the season is over I switch back to my traditional classic rock during the day and smooth jazz at night and the weekends...... :)

I enjoy the Christmas music off and on during the day. I can't listen to it exclusively, but I will flip the station on for an hour or so a couple times a day.

I'm kinda a fan.

The day after Thanksgiving, I use it to get my engine going, but after that I like it in small doses. Now, on Monday morning, my wife and I are going on a loooong trip, and I am already preparing myself for 7 hours of Christmas music.

My favorite is Nat King Cole singing the Christmas Song, but I'm not sure how many times I can handle it on one trip. Between that and every DJ speaking sticking with the old Holiday time cliches......

I raise my hand. Its the wife who asks me to change the channel. "Christmas music gets slow after awhile"

I don't mind the stations playing it the week of Christmas or even a couple weeks before... but when I hear Christmas music before Thanksgiving that's just obnoxious.
