Ok, this is completely off topic and a longshot, but does anyone have a Devon Rex cat? I put a deposit down this weekend with a breeder for a newborn kitten. I should take her home in about three months.

No, but I have a plastic Tyranosaurus Rex my 19 month old son let's me play with some times.
It is presently my favorite toy in rotation. Although, he's got a set of kick ass tow trucks that I've been enjoying more an more as of late.
Regarding cats: I love them. They're delicious.

Devons are funny looking cats with those big ears. I've been thinking of a Bengal Cat once one of mine passes on. Maybe a Norwegian Forest Cat as I'm partial to long hairs.

Norwegian Forest is one of my top choices AVB :thumbs:
My ex-wife and I had six cats. As they would pass on from old age, we'd start to buy pedigrees. We got a British Shorthair (black) and an all white Maine Coon. She got custody in the divorce
The next up was going to be a Norwegian Forest or maybe a Chartreux but we were leaning towards the Norwegian Forest.
Devon Rex are "cool" cats Jason, I remember seeing them at some cat shows we used to go to. They're hell raisers, especially when they're young :sign:
The advantage with the shorthair cats is just that, not as much long hair floating around the house
and less professional grooming BUT as AVB said, I like the look of most longhair cats.

I've got a Tabby Maine Coon now with a Dark Chocolate DLH. Both are about 11 now. Had some show Persians but they were a real pain to keep up, I spent more time brushing their hair then the wife did hers. She got them in the split too.

The one I'm going to be getting is a black and white female. When I was at the breeder this weekend the kittens were newborns so you can't really get an idea of what she will look like yet. I played with some of the older kittens though and they seem like great cats.
I really wanted a Bengal too. Unfortunately I'm actually allergic to cats. The Devon Rex seems like the best cat for people with allergies from my research (because of their unique fur), so thats why I went with it.
