I have been invited to the home of an acquaintence for this celebration. I love Indian food so a feast is ideal. However the religion has more personages and storylines than I can keep up with. GOOGLE sort of helps me, but I don't know if this is more of a harvest celebration or a new beginning type of thing and I don't want to create a scene with any faux pas.
