I was listening to this song the other day and thought of CP.

Sorry for the threadjack Hillbilly. You're good. The beef between you and CC is exactly that, between you and CC. The apology you stated in the first post apears to be geared toward CP as a whole, not necessarily CC. How you guys want to handle it and go from here is between the two of you, and doesn't really need to happen in this thread.

Well sort of Blue Dragon but if he felt compelled to apologize (which I did not demand) they why did he have to do it with insults and qualifications? Then he continues to mouth off without ever understanding he was wrong.

That's the issue here now....

Perhaps you should take a day and go read the myriad of posts from SHawk to even have an idea of where I come from on this one. And to try to explain it to you... I once again saw someone apologizing when they did nothing wrong and decided to step in.

Can someone please show me where there is an insult in this apology? In these days when everyone who needs to apologize is giving conditions such as, "I'm sorry I did this, but...", this one seems pretty straitforward and simple. He said he wanted to apologize to everyone and that he realizes he should have stayed out of it.

Unfortunately for you wurm, your reputation here is pretty lousy. I thought you and I had worked out our differences privately (as Rod likes to see) yet you insist on trying to start trouble with me, what gives?

So you and your group of "we" can go right on stiring up trouble to your heart's content but trust me, it won't do you any good.

I missed that part. It didn't appear to me that the apology was directed only at you. And in his initial apology in this thread, it didn't come off with any jabs or qualifications.

And honestly, I did't get into the whole other thread that this even came from yet. I have little knowledge of the background of the situation, so I am not bringing in any baggage from the previous issue. So from an outsider looking at this first post, it appears genuine, without qualifications, and without any jabs.

I don't know why he felt compelled to apologize. He didn't list what made him change his mind. It could just be choice; choosing to take a higher road.

I hope you guys can work things out.

I'm just not a fan of drama, exept in the movies or on TV (and I'm not talking about soap operas). Sometimes this all seems like JR High. If I have an issue with someone, I take it to them directly. If I hear a rumor that bothers me, I ask the person directly if at all possible. That is just not what I want my life to be about. This stuff isn't fun and there are more important things to do in life.

My apology here was to the general Cigar Pass Community for having any part of all this drama. Yes, I got involved with something I shouldn't have and for that I'm sorry.

But that is what I'm doing, apologizing to the general community, not to bill as an individual.

So making reference to where I said I was sorry combined with whatever I said to bill is irrelevant.

After all the name calling and remarks from bill towards me in that thread, you will never get a direct apology from me to you.

Again, this is where more drama starts because bill feels that I owe HIM an apology.

Guys, I really am sorry for all of this. We're all supposed to be here because of the love of cigars, not for all this arguing.

Where did I EVER say you owe me a direct apology? My issue with you is that you "apologized" in the thread that has since been locked with the "I'm sorry but your an ass" line which is not a sincere apology but really just another way to start trouble.

I'm getting sick of all these "New Wave Newbies" comming in here thinking just because they sign up here they are entitled to something. They seem to think just because they can compose a sentance they have earned their place.

For the record...I still consider myself a newbie when dealing with the real senior members. I listen to what they say and respect it. You don't have to agree with them...But if you listen you just might learn something. I don't think you and your boys have helped any board come to life. If I am mistaken please let me know. I would like to visit that board.

I am grateful the FOGs accepted me here...Not kissing their ass...Just stating facts.
