So, Santa is sending me an Ipad (WiFi/3g 32gig)

I am sure we have few users out there, so what are some of the best / must have apps I should look for?
Any category, any price....

I already have:
1. Atomic web browser
2. Epicourious
3. Phase 10
4. Flipboard
5. Weather +
6. Find my phone
7. Calculator Pro HD

Do you know if Pandora will work in Belgium, guess I can always try it and find out.....

I don't think Pandora will work over there, but please tell me if it does. Maybe Spotify, Last.FM, or iHeartRadio (?) will work. I'd be curious to know which services work over there so I can switch to it now and get used to it. Losing Pandora and Netflix streaming is going to hurt.

I'm going off what I have on my iPhone vs. iPad, but some fun games are RagDoll 2, Aqua Globs, Dark Nebula, and Hand of Greed.

USAA has a nice app, along with Skype and Dropbox.
 
i know for sure Last will not let you stream, at least not to my xbox360.
I will have to look into the others.

Yeah, loosing neflix, and Hulu is kinda a blow, but you can always use your iTunes and connect the ipod or pad or whatever right to the TV. You lose a bit of resolution, but in a pinch it will work.

Dropbox: Cloud-based file repository, basically. Works on Windows, Mac & Linux along with phones and iPad. Just designate a folder on your computer and everything in that folder is replicated to every other device running dropbox. I use it for my homework so that no matter what computer I log onto, I have access to all of my files. Useful for pictures, too.
 
I just set up my account..looks like it will be helpful while I am on missions out side of Brussels.
Also going to get the wife to set one up for her touch, and iPhone when we get one for her.

Pocket Universe is a great app for star gazing. There's a website called heavens-above.com that will give detailed information on satellite tracks. I've used both of them quite a bit while smoking on the deck.

Tim, check out Observatory. Since you do missions and I'm sure mission planning, one thing you can do with this is, is see what position, elevation etc. the moon will be in on a given nite. This also holds true for all the planets You can go forward and backward in time. You can also see planet positions if you need points of reference. It also has enough clocks for the most demanding. Too bad you can't give one to each of your squad leaders.

The only app you need is the boob app. Simply put, it shows a pair and if you shake the phone they jiggle. Hours of entertainment.
