Are there any other hobbies like cigars?

Anyone know of circles where the bartered item are used panties? I'm currently interested in acquiring some unmentionables from certain celebrities, namely Elizabeth Taylor, Paula Abdul, and Britney Spears (these are rare now). Evidence of marinara stains will result in an added bonus to the finder's fee. LMK. ;)

TMI Bro!! ;)

I've been involved in motorcycle, fishing, and golf forums over the last 8 years or so. None of them have equaled what I have seen in the cigar forums (especially this one). Trading, selling, buying all go on quite regularly. The deals are great, but I have never been involved in anything where total strangers go out of their way to send a package to someone "just because" with no expectations.

I think there is something special about the cigar hobby that does not exist in other hobbies. It's not just the willingness to share, it's the almost compulsive nature of the sharing that sets it apart.

Yup, my Ford and R/C forums don't even come close to "community".

That's exactly what I mean.

Who said something like: a cigar is not a good cigar unless I can share one with a friend?
