From Arganese International's website:
Maduro Chairman Torpedo
Ring: 52
Length: 6 7/8
Band color: White
Wrapper: Maduro, Brazilian Matafina
Binder: Indonesian
Filler: Dominican
A medium-bodied cigar made of the finest, hand picked tobaccos, carefully aged for 7 years. Dominican Republic and Cuban seed Dominican grown tobaccos are exquisitely blended to give you a perfect smoke every time. Hints of chocolate and sweetened coffee flavors highlight the experience.

I was recently gifted this cigar, and decided to light it up last night. I just started hearing about Arganese Cigars recently, so I thought I mine as well give the cigar a try and see how it is. Glad I did...
The construction of the cigar was excellent and quite interesting. The foot tapered down to a small rectangular shape - don't see this too often in cigars. Initial pre-light aroma of the cigar smelled strong of tobacco, earth and leather. I cut a little bit off the head, and the draw was perfect. Not too tight and not too loose. Lit the cigar up, and the initial flavor was very earthy with some pepper. Very interesting. After about 5 minutes or so, the flavor changed considerably and had a lot of cocoa/chocolate taste. Out of all the cigars I have smoked, this one offered the most chocolatey/sweet taste. It lasted all the way through the cigar. Didn't really detect too much coffee flavor, though I wouldn't say it didn't exist. The chocolateness (is that a word?) of the cigar was really pronounced, at least for me it was.
Burn quality was excellent, did not have to touch it up at all. The ash was light gray and very firm.
Definitely a good cigar, and I wouldn't mind buying a box of these to have on-hand. I'll have to check out pricing on this cigar. Definitely a unique flavor profile.
I would be interested in hearing what others have to say about this cigar, and also if they detected as much chocolate flavor as I did.
