Planning a trip in the area in a couple of weeks. Has anyone been to Atlantic's retail store in Stroudsburg, PA? I've ordered from them online many times and have had great service, but I was wondering what kind of inventory they carried in their B&M store?

Any info would be great.

Thanks!

Paul

I saw some videos, most likely from links on their site, which showed the PA stores interior. Nice place.

I believe they run the mail order biz out of there, so the selection should be very good.

edit for horrid typing

I buy online from them. Love them, great prices and they recognize me when I call. great service I agree. Let me know what it's like there cause every time I open a package from there is smells like they're is a guy in the box smoking a big stogie. That place has to rock.

I was just there a month ago on vacation.
They have some comfortable leather chairs in a
group around a couple of basic tables, and a TV
right in the store.

All of the cigars are in or behind an L shaped
counter/display case on tall bookshelves.

Cigar swag is available, and a mister keeps humid-
ity up.

The counter guy was kind of young, maybe a college
kid. Couldn't determine his knowledge of cigars.

It's right on Rt. 209 Business, the apparent main drag
of the town, at the corner of 6th St., IIRC. Parking
is a hassle, due to many meters, even on the side
street(6th). It might pay to go around the block and
walk to avoid the meters.

I only spent about 1/2 hr. Only one other guy was
smoking and he left as I was looking at their open stock.
They have a good stock, but it's all out of reach. You
must be served, and have good eyes. I bought an OR
Padilla 8/11 and a Mi Barrio. They have Tats, Padron
Anni's, Fuente and most of the common/better sticks.

The main street has alot of shops and cafes.

I buy from them, too, and wanted to check out the b&m.
No problem. On the way home I stopped at the CI Superstore,
too.

Thanks for the info Chemyst!

Would you say they had a good stock of boxes?

How was the CI Superstore? Worth the stop?

Thanks for the heads-up, Chemyst. I'll be out that way for a week in September, and plan on stopping by t some point during that week.

All of the stock on the retail floor was opened. I didn't ask
about buying full boxes. Not sure if their boxes are even at
the retail location. There is a walled off section, apparently
off limits to customers. Office space? Back stock? Both?

The CI Superstore isn't too far away, maybe 40 mins. South, IIRC.
A nice new place. Stock is open to customers to pick and choose,
except for htf and special sticks, which are in display cases.
Very good selection of smokes. If it's in their catalog, it's there.
Nice lounge at the back of the store. Comfy chairs, HDTV, BYOB.
Worth a visit, if you have time. Only one problem... the first time
I was at CI Superstore(a couple years ago) there were matches
everywhere, but this time there were none to be found. Peculiar,
very peculiar.

A good shop and the guys running it are great.
Wish they didn't have to move from NY.

All the boxes are in the back.
They let me back there, perhaps they will let others if they ask.
