I am going to be in Austin in two weeks for a business trip. I will staying downtown in the Warehouse District I won't have a car and I see that their are some great shops in Austin but not near where I will be staying. Any suggestions or recommendations for lounges or cigar friendly bars in the Warehouse District?

Thanks....

Most bars downtown allow smoking outside on the patio. There is also a cigar shop (Bobalu) down on 6th street between Neches and Red River. Other then that, you could walk down to Town Lake, find a bench and smoke there and enjoy the "scenery".

Thanks for the tip......park and scenery sound fantastic!

Be careful where smoking on Town Lake, while the scenery is nice, this is where people run. While cigar smoke might give me more energy to run, I bet most people don't like it :p .

If you like to listen to some music, Donn's Depot is nice. Speakeasy also has a rooftop you can smoke on too, good bar.

Oh yeah, and if you like good burgers, be sure to check out Casino El Camino on 6th (right down from Bobalu) or Huts it's a few blocks east of Lamar. Don't forget to wonder over to Barton Springs Pool either.

Does Bobalu only sell house brand cigars, or do they sell others as well?
