Mid tour leave is upon me and I'm set to depart soon for the southern hemisphere for my 15 days off. I will be bringing a 30 count herfidore but will also be purchasing some Cubans though only in select numbers. I think the taxes are quite steep in Australia so I'll be checking out the duty free shop before I depart the airport. My short list will include Cohiba Esplendido and H. Upmann Sir Winston. Any other MUST try ISOMs to recommend?

Hey bro.
The Taxes are very steep in Aussie. But I think the US dollar is quite strong. Not all the cigar shops will sell duty free, so you have to shop around. There are lots of substandard cigars over there so stick to the highend shops and you will be right. I can remember buying two RnJ tubos which had different screwcaps and different embossing on the bands. And I watched him open the sealed box they came out of.
Im sorry I won't be able to meetup with ya, but feel free to PM me if you need any advice.
Have fun bro

They sent us to OZ for R&R too and that was almost 37 years ago. Back then the women loved a man in uniform, now I bet they tell you not to wear it.

This is a true statement. When flying OCONUS servicemembers are required to fly in slacks and a conservative shirt with a collar.
