Back Yard Cigar Club

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to start a "back yard" cigar club? Meaning just a couple of us friends want to get together say once a month to smoke and enjoy a glass of wine or any beverage. Some questions would be like does one person bring a cigar to share and rotate each month or just bring what you like and an extra one to share? Any thoughts would be appreciated!!

Post an add on Craigslist for like "like-minded" individuals who enjoy smoking cigars and "partying" in "backyards." I am sure you will get a nice response.

If you have the people in mind already, just ask them. I'd probably provide the smokes for our first gathering, granted there aren't too many of them, and discuss expectations with them at the first "meeting." I say, just get together and smoke, people often have something they want to share.

Seriously though pal, just do one of two things:

1.) Invite your pals over, have them bring extra sticks. All sit down, all enjoy hanging out, etc. Cigar Club is complete.

2.) Invite pals over, drive to local B&M. Everyone buy the same stick, go back to your place. Smoke said cigar, all pool their thoughts about the cigar not unlike a women's book club, then rinse and repeat.


If all else fails, it's a bunch of freakin' dudes. Just smoke, drink, and have a good f**kin' time. It's not particle accelerator repair we're talking here, just a bunch of guys getting together to SMOKE. Think, SMOKE. Just SMOKE. That's all you need. Get them all there, and just SMOKE. I've got one of those. Sometimes I'd invite friends over to fiddle around with it after work...I'd pick up some steaks, sausages and meat for grinding into burgers on my way home, pull out some beer and liquor and let 'er rip. You could make a drinking game or gentlemen's wagers on how many antiparticles you'll spot.

oooh, get your friend to bring over that new PS3 game while you're at it. When the novelty of the accelerator wears off, that's always good for killing some time. Or get yourself a nice poker set. None of those poly chips, though, they just don't feel right. You can get a nice set for next to nothing, seriously.
