Bad news

Got home from work and had a phone call that nobody wants to get. One of my oldest friends, is in the hospital and he had a stroke. His wife called just as I got home to tell me. 32 years old, and they don't know what happened. He's been getting bombarded since last Wednesday with every test imaginable, and everything comes up fine - he's basically in perfect health, and they have no idea what could have happened. Thankfully he came out of it right away, with minimal problems (he can walk and talk, but his motor skills like handwriting are a little off), and I was just talking and joking with him as they wheeled him out to take more tests.

32 years old, friggin scary...

Strokes are rough man. I've known a guy for years and years now, when he had his he was never the same. Some people do make it through 100% so don't give up hope man.

My mother was 47 when she had her stroke (hopefully the only one), luckily she pulled through it fine. It is indeed a very scary ordeal.

Happy to hear he's doing well. Hope they are able to pinpoint the problem soon. My thoughts are with him, hopefully he recovers fully very quickly.
