Maybe this has been done before but..

Whats the best time or moment you had smoking a cigar...?

I've had too many to really mention. But, some standout times are:

In front of the fireplace at Devin's, around Christmas time, smoking Cubatabacco 25th Anniversary cigars and drinking Cask 23 rum. Watching the fire burn and chatting about good times.

My first Father's Day in 2000.

My first cigar at our new home. On the back porch with a Davidoff 5000, some Havana Club 7 and the crickets chirping.

A custom rolled Toboada on the deck at the nude pool in Jamaica. Watching the lovely ladies walk by, while enjoying not only the cigar and the view, but also a nice cold Red Stripe.

You didn't enjoy the chubby?

While I have no problem with my chubby, you'll find how amazingly easy it is to NOT get a hard-on with 100 or so other naked people standing around, even if some of them are engaged in a sex act or two. I don't know if I could ever make it as a porn star without Viagra. LMAO!!

I have many favorite moments. But it is hard to beat a good cigar after a good meal.

This fall, went w/ 46 friends to Colorado. We rented a huge house [which was cheap when split between us] outside of Brekenridge.

So, sitting in a large hottub w/ great friends, watching the snow fall with mountains in the background, drinking, and smoking a Montecristo #4.

have ahd a bunch of good moments, but this was one of the best.

A house that sleeps 46? Isn't that called a motel?

I have to agree with Matt, the first one at the new house is pretty high on the list along with the ones from my graduation from OCS and finishing Recon school. It's all good.

When I was sitting in the cigar club watching a football game with a bunch of people, not paying much attention, and stuck the burning ash-end first into my mouth. That hurt, and tasted like ****... but made a lot of people laugh ;)

Been there, done that... LMAO!! Not nearly as memorable as when I was 21 or 22 and used to walk around the bar with a cigarette behind my ear. One evening after a few beers or shots I stuck a freshly it cigarette behind my ear. Took a few minutes, but eventually I realized it was lit. Had to get a haircut the next day. LOL@!

I thought about doing a thread about this, since I had one magical moment last summer. I was out at night watching falling stars (they were there for 3 nights in a row). Drank some bourbon and smoked a cigar. Might sound corny, but it felt great :)

Since I've only been at it for 9 months, my best moment is easier to pinpoint...

About 2 months ago, my brother visited from WV. Hadn't seen in him but once in the past 4 years so it was a rare moment. We smoked a couple of Ashton VSGs on the front porch and reminisced about the a$$ whippings our dad used to dole out when we were kids. It wasn't the whippings, but the incidents that led up to them that were enjoyable to think back on... jumping of the roof of the house onto a pile of blankets (age 11)... flipping off the evil neighbor down the street (age 11, when she told us to stop jumping off the house or we'd break our necks)... breaking the windshield of a passing car with a rock (age 5)... Many others, too numerous to mention... Just typical $hit for a bunch of po' white kids growing up in the South!

One of my dad's favorite sayings when we were growing up was "Move your hand" as he was laying into our ass with his belt. Ah, good times!! I love that man like you wouldn't believe now that I'm older, but it was rough back then!

Nope, it was a big house, had 5 bedrooms w/ 2 or 3 to a bed, and everyone else got couches, chairs, the floor, or the garage next to the kegs.

My favorite cigar moment was the night of the wife and I's first wedding anniversay. We went out to a pretty expensive dinner consisting of a fat filet mignon and several glasses of wine. Afterwards we went home and I fired up an Opus X Petit Lancero and the wife fired up a Padron 1964 Anniversay Series Principie. Good times man.

Runner up: My first Cuban. A Montecristo #4. In my opinion, an excellent introduction to ISOM's.
