Best Pizza

I'll name a few in different parts of Florida:

Cassolas! on NW 17th Ave and approx. 26th St. in Miami.
---runner up is John the Baker on Pines and Flamingo in Pembroke Pines

Leonardo's on University and 12th St. in Gainesville (University of Florida).

Dal Italia on 58th St. and 9th Ave. in St.Petersburg
---runner up is Chicago Deli off of U.S. 19 in Clearwater

Cassola's subs are far better than their pizzas, but they do have good pies.
A great spot anyway you cut it. I hit it after Katrina, as it was open, and loaded up on stuff. It was fan-f'kin-tastic.

Not even close. John's started in 1929 and Lombardi's which is coal fired and brick kicked off in 1905. I do have to admit it IS good but not NYC's best but you're not me either so to each his own.

All NYer's should know John's on Bleeker is the best in NYC. Just do a google search. Patsy's in Brooklyn is second best to John's. John's was also the first brick oven in NYC in the early 1900's, I think. My friends and I drive in from LI every other week for a John's pie. I even get a pie to take home, it's just so good.

If you're in NYC go to John's in the village, you won't ever forget it. Bleeker, bet. 6th & 7th.

I have not had good pizza since i moved away from chicago. uno's has the best pizza. NY pizza is flat bread with katchup at least here in Allentown.

I have been wanting to try Lombardi's, but my friends are so set to John's I can't get them to try anything else. I'll have to show them this thread. Thanks AVB. I just read on sliceny.com that John's stemmed from Lombardi's. Good to know.

Hey bored is cool! Ok, best pizza in this neck of the woods would be Bocci Club pizza (Buffalo, NY). Never will you have any better!!

The worst pizza in Chicago would blow away most any other place. Went to californa once and got a Chicago Style Pizza. What a joke, tombstone was better.
