Big Job Interview Tomorrow.

Can I just threadjack and ask a question here? I am an attorney, and work in Securities Compliance. When I interviewed for my current position, the first interview was with an HR employee who knew NOTHING of the industry, nor of what I actually do. He asked all of the asshat questions, and basically wasted an hour of both of our time. Why do firms still do this once you are past entry-level positions where the HR guy can actually make a decision?

still waiting. I guess that 1 out of the 3 guys is out. I was thinking that there were just 2 of us left for 2 positions, but i may be wrong. I'm still in the hunt.
