I need some advice from you guys.

I mistakenly put too much distilled water in a humidifier filled with beads. The water leaked out and got 8 sticks pretty wet. Can I save these by letting them dry outside of the humi or are they lost?

assuming the wrappers haven't/don't burst with the sudden influx of moisture, I'd let them dry out in a semi-controlled environment (i.e. a closed empty cigar box).
give them a while before lighting them up. depending on how saturated they got, it'll take longer for the filler to dry out than it will the wrappers and binders.

Depends on what kind of cigars you got wet... If they're ISOM's or Opus or Davidoff's, etc., you better send them to me for inspection and testing... I'll let you know if they were smokeable...

I would put them in a separate humi or tupper due to the mold factor. Once they've had a chance to dry out you can reintigrate them.

I've had a similar problem and the sticks exploded.
Since then I keep a dog rocket on each side of the humidifier to absorb any possible damage.
(Nice to know the Thompsons are good for something!)
