Ok...So Atuck hands me this big 'ol cigar...says it was a Taboada. Never heard of the dude  :sign: ! He says it's special...whatever!

OK OK...I know what it is...I'm very nervous and jittery at the prospect of smoking something so special...'specially on my B-Day. So here it goes.

Appearence...Looks like a large gauge Rocky Edge...but better and more oils. The oils get all over your fingers just holding the thing...sticky like good pot! Except the wrapper is veinless...VEINLESS! Perfect. 10

Smell...I smell the wrapper and it's like chocolate and red wine, and that barnyard Cuban odor. Never smelled a cigar like this in my life...I know something great is about to happen. 10

Cut...cut the head with a double blade and it was like butter. Nuff said. 10

Pre-light...perfect draw. Taste of oak, cherry's and Pinot Noir. 10

Light...so easy. Not once did it want to go uneven...throughout the entire length of this huge cigar! 10

Burn...see above. 10

Now...I've smoked a lot of cigars. But never has there been a cigar that has absolutely blown me away like this one. The flavor went from great to fantastic to superb to outrageous to mellow to perfect. I don't know if there is a cigar that can top this...except for an aged Davidoff or Cohiba...but I will never smoke one of those. I think I will now need to stop smoking cigars...because I don't think any can give me the same experience that this one has. :( PERFECT!!!! Yes, I'm in love.

So for all of you out there in the CP world that have obtained Taboada cigars from Atuck. Please smoke them...you won't regret it...they need no aging.

I give this...IMHO...a perfect 10!!!

Did he just use chocolate, Pinot Noir, and good pot in a tasting note?

I fully concur with this here review! I am waiting to hear some reviews from some of the other guys that bought some.

I am really glad that you enjoyed it so much Fetter! Proves that I gave it to the right guy!

I know it's a dumb question, and not that I'll ever have the chance to smoke one in the near future, but how much do these run? Can someone give me a rough price range?

Funny observation NorCal! LMAO.

Good review. I have one in the humi. It's my birthday, maybe, just maybe.

They are not inexpensive, usually I don't spend that kinda jack for a cigar.

The problem with me and a Taboda cigar is that I don't know when to stop smoking them.
I got a 5er and smoked em all within a week.
Nice Review. Brought back great memories.
