Later this evening, The Wife® is takin' me out for sushi for my birthday. Before that, I plan on enjoying a stick and a snort. I think I've got my choices narrowed down to a Serie D No. 4 and Elijah Craig 18 year old single barrel...or...an Añejo and Glenlivet Nàdurra. Whattayathink?

IMO the Partagas might be a little on the strong side as a prelude to sushi. Then again I'm a newb and am happy when I can tell my head from my ass :D Happy Birthday!

Billy

I'd certainly recomend smoking both cigars. After all it is your birthday. But I never drink two different brands of scotch in the same day.

Doc.

I never drink scotch and bourbon on the same day either. That was embarassing

Go with the Serie D No. 4 and Elijah Craig.
You can't go wrong with these.

I'm a bourbon guy anyway...

I'm afraid there just isn't time today to properly enjoy both and since I've been sticking close to scotch lately, I'm off to the garage with the Partagas and Elijah Craig for a change of pace. See y'all!

Since you was already busted by AVB. I won't bust your chops about it. The most different types of Scotch and different brands in one sitting was 12 shots. All sipped and enjoyed while I was in Edinburgh. I still don't now how I stumbled back to my hostel I was staying at.

Anyways...Enjoy your day PC.

That was nice. A tad chilly but nice all the same. Between the cigar and the bourbon, lots of wood and leather notes, accented by apple wood smoke from the Bradley...accompanied by Aerosmith's Greatest Hits from the CD player in the garage.
