Black Patch Cigars

Ok, so I was wrong it was not a box of 5-5 packs like I thought, but rather a box of 10-4 packs, so I have room for 2 more. Only request is you do a review. Not to much to ask, is it.

Line-up so far

Me
Wurm
Diesel Grinch
Seth
Brewmiester, but unless he is reading this he does not know yet
? ? ?
? ? ?

Nah, it doesn't look like these are puros. I'd infer from the web descriptions, that these are KY broadleaf wrappers over Dominican filler and binder. They're either small run, local stuff, or they could sure use some marketing budget.

No one said they looked like "puros," where are you getting that from? ???

Looks like Bruce was talking about your "Muniemakers which are Connecticut puros" comment Bill.

I like to try both.

Ah okay, I see now, thanks wurm. The binder and wrapper are Connecticut broadleaf but the filler is "US grown filler" so it appears you and Bruce are correct, my "Connecticut puros" definition is wrong... :( I'm an idiot, sorry Bruce.

If you are looking to give away that last pack, AVB was asking about them last night in chat. Seth

OK, I will get back to everyone as soon as I get this together.

Aw DG, I've seen Bill apologize at least twice before

Never took offense, Bill. If it were personal, you'd have ended the sentence differently.

These will go out sometime before Friday the 10th...so look for them around the 20th.

I do not have a store front. My fields are in Western Ky (undisclosed) and the cigars are made in the Dominican Republic in Palmar Abajo. So, I have nothing here in Lexington to show you. I will share photos from this Monday in my fields. The new Kenbano seed is growing well that I cultivated (cuban seed) and the LC-1959 Kentucky broadleaf that is currently used in my cigar blends is in its 4th crop. The Kenbano will be a new "genre" of wrapper and tobacco in the near future. We also are experiencing credit card authorization snafus and no longer accept such for payment for our cigars from the website. This week we are taking a different road to fulfill orders. Thanks, eric.

Was the reply I got. Eric seems like a nice guy, and I did mention I would do a review with pictures of his shop and what not, but with no storefront, its kinda hard.

Your veranda man... veranda!

Ok, so to everyone in the 4pack review committee, these will be going out tomorrow, as long as the Army Post Office does not give me any trouble. As I have said it will take about 10 days, Wurm, yours might get there faster.

I am a cheap bastig, and since Priority mail moves no faster than regular post from here, all the Priority boxes are inside out, no laughing!!!
Also, I have been told that I can not get DC for mail that originates from Iraq, so no DC numbers, sorry. We will have to trust the cigar gods to make sure all is well.

Thanks
Tim

Edit to add:
PS: AVB, I hope in some small way this covers me for your contest

7 boxes in the mail as of 3 am CST. This is my first mailing, so let me know how I did. I will set up the review thread when I get word that the shipments have made it to the targets.

Thanks to all

Tim
