Excellent bump.

I once posted a thank you for a tag along received with a purchase and I named the stick. A wise young fella PM'ed me to say maybe the sender didn't want the stick named. I responded that I was just trying to say thank you and left it at that. His comment, now makes perfect sense!
 
I know some people like to stay anonymous simply because they are nice people, though I never really thought of this perspective. Good read. Wish I read it earlier.

*EDIT* I think this thread would benefit from a pinning, maybe?
 
Great bump.  I won't deny I was an offender several years ago.
 
I still maintain that this thread needs to be a sticky up top along with the rest of the pass/trade/forum protocol threads.
 
I've read this threa a couple of times over the years but today was the first time from beginning to end. This part just hit me.

I didn't know Neal, and certainly wasn't as close with Brian as many of you, but that is certainly profound.  From everything I've known and read, he certainly lived it...

Unfortunately my offense was much more recent. I wrongly assumed pictures were shared simply as a means of gratitude and to show a little cigar porn for all to see. I did not consider the implications associated with its usage in order to profit from another botl. Thanks for the bump.
