Bought my first bottle of Scotch

I'm no expert, but when I try a new Scotch, I give it a swirl to numb the palate a bit. I try to avoid adding water or ice unless I'm drinking the cask strength stuff.

As a newbie to Scotch - I've tried it both with a capful of distilled of water and also with 1 ice cube. Still developing a taste for it so to me its the same....

I have to try a bottle of this stuff. All I've tried so far is Glenlivet 12 yr and Dimple Pinch (blended). The Glenlivet went down a lot smoother than the latter, but I'll definitely be trying this stuff.
Thanks for the info gents.
