Box Code Question~

Has anyone seen this on a box?

The number on the bottom seems to be part of the rest of the stamp.

First, I've seen this twice...both on different brands.
Second, this one was on a brand that there were two boxes of...different factory and date codes..but this one had the extra 'number'.
I have to verify if the two that have this additional number are the same code/factory or not.

I have seen the extra digit before, but done with a pencil not stamp. I was told that it was a control check on the cigars.

I have see this on select boxes before. If I recall correctly, Fonseca Cosacos and LGC M D'or #4.

Nope. Actually, if I recall correctly without going to check, it was Partagas.
