When these cigars arrived I knew I was in for a treat because they look great, The Bravo Colombian Gold Torpedo ( 6.5 x 50 ) is worth waiting for.
First impression was a nice dark sungrown wrapper with a spicy smell.
Firm construction with a few small veins running through the length of the stick,and a firmness that I prefer.
After cutting off the cap the pre-light draw was firm but easy enough to get air through.
Upon light up a strange tangy spice taste pulled me in to a truly new wonderful smoking experience ( the Colombian tobacco is as good as their coffee ).
loads of tangy smoke from each draw and a firm ash that topped off what was a really top quality smoke.
The burn did need a touch up in the first third though.
The flavor remained the same through the entire stick ( i did enjoy the taste ).
Construction = 9 /10
Wrapper = 8 /10
Taste = 9 / 10
Ash = 8/10
Overall Experience 9 /10

I saw these got a good score in CA, and I have to admit I've been curious about a Columbian cigar, so thanks for the review!

BTW, is ash important enough to you to warrant its own score? How come?

Sorry about that Gavin but most of the sticks i smoke have a firm ash which holds on for an inch or two.
This stick had a flakey ash and fell off way to soon,it sort of splinted away on the floor and made a mess which the wife was not happy about. :angry:
