I have an older dresser made out particle board. We no longer need it as a dresser, but the wood is still in great shape. Can i use this wood to make a pretty good size humidor??? Is there a certain wood thickness to use ???

What do you guys think???

I guess if you lined it with Spanish cedar it might work? You're going to have a hell of a time making sure it holds a tight seal unless you know what you're doing. If not, you may be better off selling it and using the funds towards a cabinet

I wouldn't do it, myself.

Particle board has contained all kinds of chemicals over the years, and while they may have dissipated from your dresser, do you really want to take that chance?

Do a search it has been discussed and reviewed in the past.
