Hello Everyone!

I was looking into getting another bottle soon and was wondering what are some single malt scotchs that seem to be a bit more on the sherry side? I have had Laphroiag which is peaty and Glenlivet which is a bit calmer.

Macallan 12 or 18 (not Fine Oak series)
Glenmorangie Lasanta
Aberlour 16
Aberlour a'bunadh
Clynelish 1992 Distiller's Edition

You should be able to find any of the above fairly easily.

I second the Aberlour a'bunadh!!

100% sherry wood aged. Its the most intense sherry scotch I have ever had. Also, barrelproof. More sherry than Mac or Balv DW IMO.

Also there is the Glengoyne line they do not peat their Barleyand it is aged in sherry casks.

Glengoyne 17 yo

Glengoyne 15yo Scottish oak finish.

If you want something cask strength like Aberlour A'bunadh you can try Macallan Cask Strength or Glenfarclas Cask Strength. Both excellent bottles and a lot of in your face sherry flavor.
