Can I make a recommendation

Now that the initial post on a thread is brought forward to each new page perhaps we should consider making the initial post short and sweet. If a list needs to be in the thread, like puts and takes in a pass thread, participants, contest rules, etc, then perhaps make that post the second one and it could be edited and lengthened as needed.

Sometimes the original post is (or gets) so long it eats up a lot of the page with the redundancy. Scrolling is such hard work.

Just a thought.
