Been socked in with tule fog the past couple of days and the stress factor here on the plantation nearing its crecendo as we are nearing the end of a POS project, I decide to go across the street, take in a view of the waterfront. Bottle of AquaFina water in hand, I remove the cello, smell the foot which the odor duped me into thinking I will be clearing my head before my next meeting. I clip the foot, take in a couple of pre-light draws and I am thinking for sure, this is going to be a one hour vacation.

I lit the foot and that is where the joy ended. I attributed the first 1/8th inch to the cigar needing to warm up. Wrong! So I continued for about 10 minutes, taking three (3) draws about every two (2) minutes. This stick was horrible, beyond horrible. I love a good Cameroon wrapper but this thing, a pure, unadulterated Dog Rocket. I would not gift this one to my boss.

There are sticks you are willing to give a second chance to, this for me is not one of them. Yuck!

I absolutely dig them. One of my favorite Cameroon wrapper cigars.
Relatively cheap and tasty. Sounds you had a bad one, but I can not tell from the description you gave.
This cigar has more flavor of the same flavor you find on other Cameroon wrapper cigars.

That's odd - I had (and reviewed) one this summer. It was great - one of my best cameroon experiences to date (better than a Hemingway, no less). CAO tends to be very solid, very consistent when it comes to construction and blend, or at least that's their reputation so far. I wonder if they're slipping.
