I recently bought a 5 pack of Brazilia Impanema's (7x50) and really liked them. As I'm getting more experienced, my tastes are changing to fuller bodied and spicier cigars. I wold like to buy a box of 20, but the lowest price I can find on the net is about $95 which is at $5.00 or so per stick including shipping. On my retirement income, that's more than I can really afford. My question is are there any cigars out there similar in flavor and body to the Brazilia, but cheaper?

i'm having this same problem man! i love the brazilia line. I went by the outlaw the other day, and they recommended me a few stick that were cheaper, comparable and still have the same full bodied taste. I recommend padron 2000's thats about all i got. but im with you, brazilias are great

I'm a fan of the Braziliza also. I like the Gol size, but Cigar Monster had a sale on the Pirhana for $59 a box so I grabbed one.

I know I've had another cigar that tasted very similar to the Brazilia but I can't remeber what it was at the moment :blush:

Brazillia Gol!'s can be found at Famous, and somewhere else IIRC, for a little over $3 a stick. About the same as the Padrons.

EDIT: Famous has 5'ers for $15.75 and I KNOW I found a 5'er for $15-even somewhere, can't find it now though.

I have seen the Gol! for around 83-85 a box at Holt's, JR's and such.

You can always play the auction game at the various sites, just know the price you want to pay and if you get outbid, move on to the next auction.

Patagas Black is a good option, about $82 for the 6x60 Pyramid or $72 for the 6x50 Maximo Tubo. La Gloria Cubana is another fine choice. The Serie R are a bit more expensive, but the DR are about $74 for the 7.5x48 Inmensa. Ont eh Yard 'gar side, I was pleasantly surpised with Don Tomas Int'l Selection with was about $60 IIRC.

Also, you can always look at the option of doing box splits with guys on the board so you aren't absorbing the whole cost of a box at once (2 half-boxes a couple months apart, cut the one-time investment for the same cost and quantity)
