I'm a faithful smoker of CAO Brazillia, but haven't tried the Italia yet. Anyone tried it? What were your impressions? Is it comparable in strength to the Brazillia?

Thanks for your input. I'll have to make the drive to Louisville to pick one up if it's worthwhile.

Italia is my favorite of the CAO line. Course, haven't had one in a while now. If memory serves, it's a smidgen milder than Brazilia.

I havent smoked one in at least a year. Not that I did not like it to smoke more of them, there are just a lot of smokes that I like better. I seem to remember it being fairly tasty. More complex than the Brazilia.
I also think I like the "Novella" (?) a hell of a lot more tha the little brazilia, whose name escapes me.
I liked the more rotund Brazilia's, and more of the sizes in the Italia line.

Agreed I remember the Italia being a little liter, and although it pains me to say, because I'm Italian, It isn't for me. I do respect the flavor and the reputation Cao has earned for it, there just imo seem to be better values for the money. It has been a while since I have had one but I do seem to remember them to be good morning smokes.

Happy smoking,
Dios de fuego

CAO is a gimmicky brand for me, with only a few offerings worth my time.

They did some ok Cameroon for a while, and the Brazilia was ok as well. Not worth the prices they charge though.

I like the Italia a lot. Has some great flavors and smaller sizes. However, my personal favorite from CAO is the Bratalia. It is an Italia with the Brazillia wrapper. They are pretty hard to find, though and a little overpriced.

Ohhh, I need to try these Bratalia of which you speak. Off to see if I can find one. (Nott gonna invest in more than one will I try it, lol)

Thanks for the input all. Gonna have to give the Italia a try.
