Brother and Sisters,
I should point out I am not posting this thread to do a critique of CAO as a Marque. Rather that they made a DVD about the making of cigars (theirs primarily, but it applies to all cigars as a whole) that is very educational to people who are starting to smoke cigars or may just want a brush up on how the cigars we smoke are made.
The DVD, called "Seed to Soul" lasts about 30 minutes. It was a common addition to many CAO gift sets in the last year or two so maybe a lot of people have seen it already, or have a copy of their own. As the name suggests it follows the making of cigars from seed to product.
I happen to have an unopened copy that I am willing to start a pass it forward with to anyone who wants to see it and is willing to pass it on to the next person in line. We would keep it open to pretty much everyone except asshats becasue it is basically a free video, so if someone wants to ruin their time here at CP over a DVD then it is better to loose the DVD and see the asshat :laugh: .
So if there are some family members here who are interested in seeing it, please post your interest and I will start it next week.
Rules:
1. You get the DVD and watch it, lets try to keep it to a weeks time.
2. When you are done you ask who wants it, and the next person to post gets it.
3. Though the DVD is not worth much, I would still prefer we use the CP standard of shipping (meaning use delivery confirmation) so that if it is lost we can see how it happened.
4...Repeat step one.
This is only meant as an educational attempt for people who want to learn more about cigars. So, if you want to learn the basics, are a fan of CAO or just want to see what they have to say then jump right in.
I also ask any of my more senior family members to add to this pass idea as they see fit.
