Cardboard OK in humidor?

I have acquired a few 5 packs of isoms that are in cardboard packages.Is it ok to put them in the humi as is or should I take them out of the boxes?

I'm sure this has been covered in recent times but I am too tired to a) suggest a search or b) do the search so I'll just tell you.

Most folks would do just fine leaving the cigars in their original cardboard packaging if they have a cooler or some other larger storage container. If you have a desktop humi, taking them out and putting them in the humi naked is just fine too. In other words, no big difference either way for short-medium term storage for smoking.
