I'm a newb, so I can't tell you much about the fillers, just that it was maduro.

Length: 6 x 52

Currently I'm just buying singles here and there until I find something I enjoy enough so that I can buy a whole box. This particular cigar was very mellow. I enjoyed it from the start. Excellent draw at first, but as I examined the cigar closly as I smoke it, I notice there was a nick in the wrap. I didn't notice this during inspection at the cigar shop, but I suppose next time I will take a little more time and consideration. This wasn't a problem until halfway through the cigar. Eventually, the wrapper started to flake. This disappointed me because the draw became worse and worse. I smoked enough to appreciate the spicyness of the cigar towards the end.

Sorry your cigar blew up. I like the Toranos. The Exodus is a go to for me! If you haven't had one of those yet, pick one up!

Sorry to hear about your bad smoking experience, it happens to everyone. If you want to try a good maduro, try a Padron thousand series. A great maduro cigar and the construction of a Padron is wonderful.

Eventually you will pick up the ability to keep the wrappers from flaking off and unraveling by giving it a lick in right direction or by putting your finger on the wrapper while smoking. I started smoking with Torano's and their Signature series was one of my first boxes, to this day I still have some in my humi. They are a milder maduro, but lots of flavor in them. Keep on trying them, you just had a bad kept one.

Ditto... The Signatures were one of the first premium sticks I had the pleasure of smoking, and even though my tastes have changed, I still really enjoy them.

BTW the wrapper is a Brazilian maduro. If you want to try some other sticks with a Brazilian wrapper, try CAO's Brazilia, or Tesa's La Hara (though I wouldn't recommend the Brazilia if they are really young - the first time I tried these they were apparently really young - a lot of ammonia - and reminded me of urinal cakes
