CA's The Big Smoke

Have any of you guys ever attended one of these.

This year they will be having one here in Chicago Wed May 4th at the Hyatt regency O'Hare.
I was wondering if it is worth the price of admission.

Admission is $175.oo includes 20 cigars..dinner and wine beer and drink samplings all night. And alot of the top industry guys will be there..

What do you guys think?

GUess i could always go to the one in Atlantic city at the Borgata on the 13-14th :thumbs: I need a reason to go there..

I was actually gonna try and scrape the money together to go to the one in Atlantic City.

I'm headed to CI's Herf in PA, April 9

Wife got us tickets to go to the one in Atlantic City. Really looking forward to it! I'll be there and would love to meet up with some other CPers if any of you end up going. Should be a blast - if noting else, it's a night at the Borgata (nice hotel) and some gambling. :thumbs: Then, Saturday night we are off to PA for the U2 concert. Going to be a weekend to remember...

I attended the Big Smoke in Las Vegas last year. All in all, it was a great event. I think there were something in the neighborhood of 3000 people in attendance. I posted a review after the event, you may want to do a search as I think there were a couple reviews. Basically, the format is they give you a coupon book. Once you enter the event, you can go to the various vendors and "cash in" your coupon in exchange for whatever cigar they're giving out. In addition to the cigar vendors, there were a number of other booths including food, automobile vendors, spirit and wine vendors, etc. In the center of the flood there were a number of different cars from various manufacturers on display -- nothing too outrageous.

I went to the Big Smoke event last year in Las Vegas. I'm not planning on going to one again. Read into that what you will.

I was really interested it Vegas mainly the after hours party but sort of sounds like it may not be worth the trip.

They need to have one in Destin Fl. I can actually get a TDY there.... Until then, I will only drool until I can move back to the US.

I'll be at my home away from home (Borgata) in May to attend The Big Smoke. As this get's closer I'll keep an eye out for other CP'ers that will be there.

Well after considering for a while. I have a friend who is dying to go..He gave me my first RYJ habano..so how could I refuse and not go with him!

Hope to get the other guys to attend also.!!
SO we can have a pre-herf and an after herf!!
