Well, the over-bidders must have been sleeping on Cbid.

I did some bottom feeder type bidding the last couple days and ended up winning wayyyyy too many smokes. Not sure where the usual bid maniacs were, maybe they don't like Indain Tabac products.

Good news is that I got them all at great prices. Far under the best deals with online retailers. :) Bad news is that my wife will have a stroke when the box gets here. :0

Guess I have some ammo for some tactical assaults for the new year. Muhahahahahaha!

At least you've got lots of ammo for poker then. :) I plan on staying away from cbid at least until the new year. Try deleting it from your favorites. Maybe that will help.

Cbid is evil... EVIL!!!!!!

You can consistantly get a few good smokes for extraordinarily low prices, such as the CI Legends lines (RP, Camacho, La Aurora), 5 vegas stuff, and of course Indian Tabac.

The Gurkhas have been coming out in 10, 15, 20 lots at a time and you can also get them for around 2-4 bucks a stick. Is Gurkha having some sort of close out?

Been there...done that. I don't bid now unless I really really want it, not just a low bid to see if I can get a deal. I got no room in my coolers.

I never got into cbid I don;t know enough about the types yet to know what I would like. I really like the patel vintage and tabacs I got from CI in the big ring gauge combo though good stuff.

terrible when you bid on two or three bundles at a given price and win them all.

You know when package will arrive, right? Take the day off and get package yourself. Do not let wife to see it.
those sticks not worth it... LOL

VotTak's got some good advice there!

But at least you scored some deals right? Just tell your wife they were on sale...

This time of year all boxes that arrive are not opened until the person who ordered it gets home and hides in the back room.

I thought I would get lucky and win maybe one lot. Been watching the prices the last couple weeks and I bid 9-12 bucks below average.

Got three bundles of Fire for 13 each and 2 boxes of IT cuban corojos for 22 each. Thought for sure I would loose the IT boxes. They sell for twice that price at the online shops.

Can we do a blind taste test with those new cigars of yours? Send me some of the Fire, IT and a Davidoff - all unbanded, of course - and let me tell you which is which... But I might have a little trouble with the Fire and the IT stuff - I usually pass those out to the homeless and ask for their impressions. I usually get some pretty strange responses - "reminds me of a finely aged bottle of Thunderbird" - or - "the smell is reminiscent of burning truck tires..." :D

I quite enjoy the IT Super Fuerte. CBid ran a gazillion of Super Fuerte samplers a while back and I grabbed 4 of em at the intro price.

CI has a deal in their catalog on IT.

Buy a sampler of 24 sticks for $49.95 and you get a free IT humidor.

If I were not in the doghouse (she looked at the bank account this afternoon) I would get one.
