I smell a choke job like my Mavs pulled last year in the playoffs. Maybe not first round but definitely could get bitchslapped in the finals by whoever comes out on top of this insane western conference.

I do remember the days when we always thought our team would lose. There has been such a major reversal of attitudes in New England ever since the Sox came back against the Yankees in '04.

This is so true. I really feel bad for the guy. He was always very loyal to the Timberwolves and played his heart out for a team that was never geared towards winning anything but he never gave up. You'd think the TWolves would have done right by him and trade him to the Lakers, (who, by the way, made a much better trade offer for him) but of course Kevin McHale was more concerned about doing right by the Celtics than he was about doing right by the TWolves (his employeer). And of course he was more interestd in helping out his buddy Danny Ainge then helping his loyal player KG get to a team that can win a title. The Celtics looked real good durring the season but they allmost got run out of the playoffs by a sub .500 team (Atlanta). Then, they almost lost to a team that's basically a one man show (Cleveland). I think they got very lucky that Billups got hurt or we'd be talking about a Lakers/Pistons series.
