Anyone ever tried this stuff just over rocks. I've read that this is an old gentleman's drink from back in the dayl. Just curious before I fork over the $45 for the green.
I grew up drinking the yellow and I liked it. I chose it when I couldn't get my hands on a Basque version called Izarra, made with similar ingrediants and a small yellow poppy-like flower that grows in the Pyrenees. The green was always a bit harsh to me. For green go with the original Green Fairy - Absinthe! ???
edited to add: If you enjoy the "digestives" then you might also enjoy B&B on the rocks, it's great in a snifter after a big meal.
