We're having a bunch of Chicago CPers at a Rocky Patel event in Orland Park on Friday the 28th from 4pm tp 9pm. Lmk if you're interested. You're more then welcome. :thumbs:

I've been to Jack Schwartz and Orland Park. Either is great. I'd definitely go to the RP event if you're in the area around that time. I went to the Pepin event there and it was great.

My flight comes in at 4:50. where exactly is orland park. It will be nice to herf with Wyatt and the rest of the gang! :thumbs: . If it's not too far from the Chicago Hilton (michigan ave) I can go there directly. Hopefully, you guys won't mind me showing up with my carry-on luggage! :blush:

Orland park is about 45 min SW (34 miles) of Downtown.

Will you be flying in thru O'hare or Midway?
O'hare is about a 50 min drive And midway is about a 25 minute drive from Orland Park.

Let me know so I can give you directions.

I will also be at Belicoso since it is my second home. Looks like a good crowd from CP will be there.!

I am coming to O'Hare, flight lands at 4. Is there a reliable means of public transport to getting there? Taxi or airport shuttle? I was going to rent a car but parking in Chicago made it cost prohibitive and very impractical. And also is the Belicoso cab-able at 9 pm to go to downtown Chicago?

Belicoso closes at 10PM. Event is from 4-8.

I would recommend renting a car for one day So you dont have to run around and you can actually relax. (there are 2 parking garages by the hotel that offer overnight parking i think for 20-25 dollars. You could than drop the car off Sat to the rental place you rented the car form at the airport. Most major carriers have one way rentals.

Hertz State Street HLE - 720 S michigan ave (1.5 miles from hotel) open Sat 7am-4PM
Budget on Wabash Chicago -714 SOUTH WABASH (.12 miles from your hotel) open sat 8AM-2PM
Enterprise Millenium Park - 65 E LAKE ST (.9 miles down 1 street) open 8AM-2PM

Booked my car rental and everything is set. But I do not want to be remiss. Do I need to register? Any fees that need to be collected in advance, etc? Sack, are you the organizer? I do not want to step on your toes.

A little SNAFU. I got bumped and re booked to midway. Bad new is luggage is going to o'hare with smokes lighter and cutter. Sorry if I can't share.

I am scheduled to arrive @ 5. So,I should get to Beli between 6 and 6:30.
