Cholula hot sauce

Just found Cholula hot sauce at my local store (it must be a new line ) and was wondering what recipes i could use it in , any ideas are welcome from my fellow CP'ers :)
 
It's not new, but it's great on everything. At least that's what I eat it on.
 
Thanks BOTL , I think I have found a replacement for my old favorite ( Tabasco ) :thumbs:

But fair warning it is a tad warn. :p Its not bad if you want the heat. Like I said...fair warning in advance.

I just looked at hotsauceworld and damn,I gota get some Mad Dog 357 .My mates are gunna kill me after eating that arse burner ( when they get up off the ground that is ) LMFAO :laugh:

Thats mild. Look for Blair's 3am and that isn't hot to some of the things there. i took a teaspoon of the extract and I can say its freaking hot. I won't do it again. :laugh:

I use Ring of Fire XX as my daily hot sauce, so much good flavor! Try it on eggs in the morning!

The rest of the ride home I was on a capsaicin high. (Fellow hot sauce guys will know how good this feels.)

I use Ring of Fire XX as my daily hot sauce, so much good flavor! Try it on eggs in the morning!

I love Chilli but at 1,500,000-2,000,000 scoville units I think i will leave this one alone.
 
Cholula is my favorite hot sauce. I put it on eggs, potato salad, pizza, chili, any soup, any meat, etc. etc. I still use a Frank's mixture for my wings but I do add a dash of Cholula for that as well. A pinch of white pepper amplifies the heat of it without taking away from the great flavor. Good find there Shaun. Now how about adding a dash or two to your ABTs? ;)
 
Cholula is my everyday hot sauce. My grand daughter would drink it if I let her. It's really nice on fried rag bologna.
 
It's a great suace. Just about anything you want to put it on. I like it on popcorn and especially on corn on the cob! Good stuff it has been around for awhile.
 
That and lousiana hot sauce are the best out there in my opinion. A gooe recipe to use it in is dirty rice.....

2 lbs chcken
2 lbs hot sausage
4 boxes Zaterain's dirty rice mix
grill the chicken with cajun seasoning
brown the sausage
follow directions on box

Haven't had Cholula for quite a while, have to go get some. Great on huevos rancheros among other things. Nice flavor with medium heat.
 
I use Cholula from time to time, however, my old stand by will always be tabasco. I prefer the original and the habanero flavors.
 
I keep ALL the Tabasco variations on hand, but my go-to is their Chipotle. The heat's not much, but the flavor's incredible.

When I make chili I add a dash of all of 'em. :cool:

When I want heat, I favor srirachi sauce, with the rooster on the bottle. That stuff'll perk ANYTHING right up. Another sauce I love is Trappey's Red Devil, which I use instead of BBQ sauce on smoked brisket.
