CI Legends Don Pepin? Really?

I just noticed these on cbids front page clicky.
They weren't included in the CI Legends review series here


Are they a new addition? Has anyone tried one of these? I generally like Don Pepin stuff and I assume like the other CI legends these can be had for around 2 bucks a stick at cbid.

These are recent additions, I think Steve@cigarbid first put them up on the 12th of Jan. I have heard good things about these sticks.

Had any one tried one yet ? Any brave soul here to take one up for the team ? I am broke right now or I would have gone for a box.

Let us know when someone here have a chance to try it out. GOOD, BAD, or UGLY ?

I should have a couple early next week. I'm no reviewer, but I'd be glad to pass on my impressions. Probably won't smoke one until next weekend at the earliest, so they can acclimate.

Bro...I love these things! Its currently one of my favortite cigars. Granted I havent have tooo many yet but those are awesome. Gave me a helluva buzz too.

Me too....the corona is my favorite. They're a bit pricey for me, hence my quest to try every cheaper Pepin blend I can. I'm hoping to find a cheaper smoke that's close to it. Some have said the black label is about the same, but so far to me the Vegas Cubanas is the closest. YMMV. :)

Feel free to add to the Legends Review thread with your impressions of this new cigar. When we reviewed the Legend series, this cigar wasn't available. It would be cool to have all the Legends series reviewed and all in one place for easy reference.

SammyP - How about a 5 cigar swap? I'd like at least one of the new Legends to smoke, the other 4 cigars of your choice. We can cap the trade at whatever dollar amount you like. Let me know.
