Cigar Bands

Hello my BOTL!

A very old and dear friend just asked me what he should do with his fathers and grandfathers collection of cigar bands. I have no idea. There are hundreds of these from before WWII to the 1960's or so. They are just placed in a small notebook with no order I can see yet, thought there may have been some. These folks were collectors of everything, and this is just another manifestation.

Any insights would be most welcome.

Yep take pics but then send them to souldog24ca for his cigar band table project, at least thats my vote.

Hang on to them. Maybe make a scrap book or something out of them for your smoking room or coffee table. Something guests can look through while they smoke.

I feel really stoopid, but how do I post pictures?

There are about 600 of these things, so I won't post all of them, but I'll try to choose some cool samples.

I am also doing a cigar band table. But if I where you I would hold onto those bands. Those are old and special .
