Nice! Can you tell us a bit about the drop downs? Will you have hardcoded options in the fields to simplify queries <e.g., country of origin has pre-coded dominican, nicaraguan etc>?
Looks fine to me...
In the past, I've tried to use databases (Cigar Briefcase and Excel), but could never stick with it. Just too much work/hassle.
Question: Will this db include self-populating fields? For example, if you select "Hemingway Signature" from a drop down menu, will the cigar's specifics (ring gauge, length, country of origin, etc.) auto populate? That would be very cool and make it easier to use.
It dont look too cool, but it has important informations, what I think is more important than a view, so...
Ps. is it going to be some kind of "my smoked and stored cigars list" ?
Looks good! Maybe add a field to input where you purchased or received the cigar? And perhaps a field that tells you how long it's been aging since you purchased?
I like the cigar databas HERE also, by the way.
If it is kept in MS Access, it is useless to me. I'd suggest that you make it available via a web interface such that make it truly a resource.

Well, i'd love to but I'm not a web developer, I'm an html hack that can make a rpetty webpage, but i don't know jack about how to hook up a database to a web page.
sorry
